Godman is an upcoming Tamil web series set to release on 12th June 2020. A Zee5 original web series, released the trailer of the Godman on YouTube. The genre of Godman is crime, thriller.
About Godman Web Series
The first glimpse of the trailer and its background music makes one glued to the promo. The promo starts with a person challenging the way Brahmins should live.
Promo also shows a true picture of the web series which is battle for God, money, and power. It revolves around religion and politics. The short promo ends with it showing the date of release as 12th June.
The shooting for the Godman was started in September 2019. Shooting for Godman was done at several locations such as Munnar, Himalayas and Tenkasi
The primary language of the series is Tamil. It will be released along with English subtitles.
Babu Yogeshwaran serves as the director and story writer of the web series. He is best known to direct the hit Tamil film Daas (2005).
Availability and Download
Godman will be released exclusively on Zee5 platform. Just like any other web series, it will be released altogether on 12th June itself. Once the web series is released, it will be available for download and one can easily download it offline.

Godman’s Response From Fans
Godman received mixed to negative response of the promo released from Tamil and non-Tamil viewers. Some highlighted it being degrading one particular religion while some others said that web series must have censor board approving the release. Many viewers also suggested reporting the trailer video released on YouTube. Whatever the case may be, it will after the release that we will know a clear picture of the web series
